The ideal candidate will also bring: Must be 18 years of age or older Previous restaurant cooking experience required Healthcare, senior living, or institutional cooking experience strongly preferred Experience with scratch cooking and preparing meals from raw ingredients Ability to follow standardized recipes, portion control, and special diet requirements Culinary arts training or ServSafe certification preferred Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and infection control practices Dependable, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment What You’ll Do
Prepare delicious, visually appealing meals for residents Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times Assist with serving meals and clearing tables during mealtimes Clean and sanitize utensils, dishes, kitchen areas, and floors Communicate menu feedback, concerns, and suggestions with staff and residents Adhere to infection control, foodborne illness prevention, chemical safety, and fire safety procedures Help ensure a safe, welcoming dining environment for residents Who We Are
