Our client is seeking a
Fabrication Production Supervisor
to lead a team in a high‑volume manufacturing environment, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality production. This role focuses on team leadership, training, continuous improvement, and supporting fabrication operations on 2nd shift. Work Schedule:
Monday–Thursday, 3PM–1AM (occasional Friday OT) | 2nd Shift Responsibilities: Perform additional duties as assigned. Maintain production schedules and meet operating metrics. Serve as first point of contact for employee relations issues. Collaborate with union stewards on contract‑related matters. Drive a culture of safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency. Lead and support team members in daily production activities. Coach, mentor, and develop team leaders and frontline employees. Ensure proper training in safety, equipment operation, quality, and 5S. Track training progress using established tools and processes. Support continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean, waste reduction) Qualifications/Must Haves: Ability to work 2nd shift and occasional Friday overtime. Proven leadership ability with a servant‑leadership mindset. Strong communication, coaching, and team‑building skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a medium/high‑volume manufacturing environment. Bachelors degree in Business, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience) Basic understanding of Lean manufacturing (5S, Kaizen, Kanban, process control) Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment.
