Position Overview Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Transportation Analyst (Level 3/Level 2) to join our Global Logistics Transportation team in Hazelwood, MO.
Position Responsibilities

Plans and executes domestic and export shipments in compliance with ITAR and EAR regulations, ensuring all documentation and procedures meet legal and organizational standards
Engages collaboratively with the team to achieve business goals, ensuring alignment with Boeing's strategic objectives and positively contributing to Boeing’s priorities and strategy
Administers site carrier accounts and shipping systems
Initiates loss and damage claims to carriers and supports claims investigations
Supports the development Statements of Work to secure cost‑effective transportation services
Identifies work statement changes and capacity surges, ensuring operational efficiency and timely completion of established goals
Fosters and promotes an environment of continuous improvement; addresses concerns through systematic problem‑solving reflecting Boeing's values of Trust, Ownership, Innovation and People Focus
Proposes changes to standardized work to improve processes, demonstrating a proactive approach to enhancing efficiency and ownership of outcomes
Supports transportation projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and alignment with organizational goals
Investigates and performs root cause analysis on logistics initiatives and recommends business solutions relating to transportation and logistics practices, processes and procedures
Complies with export regulations and export processes
Develops and cultivates relationships with service providers, suppliers, stakeholders, peers and business partners for collaborative solutions
Navigates through complex situations and drives to efficient, effective and timely solutions
Position Responsibilities – Associate Level 2
Assists with interpreting and applying logistics policies, processes and methodologies to support business initiatives.
Applies knowledge of logistics and transportation methodologies in support of organizational objectives.
Prepare documentation to support routing and logistics functional requirements.
Performs domestic freight transactions.
Assists with and performs international freight transactions in accordance with Federal and Regulatory Agency guidelines.
Collects and analyzes data and information from multiple sources in support of transportation and logistics business initiatives.
Assists with a variety of support services including freight bill audit and related activities, contracts management and negotiations team functions, prepares and assists with documentation and certification of shipments of dangerous goods and supports compliance initiatives.
Position Responsibilities – Experienced Level 3
Provides support for the development of the statement of work to secure cost‑effective transportation services.
Analyzes carrier performance data for cycle time, costs and business process review.
Participates on enterprise‑wide and cross‑functional teams defining export control programs.
Interfaces with internal/external compliance organizations and responds to Customs and Border Protection inquiries for export control issues to ensure compliance with export regulations, federal regulations, Foreign Trade Regulations and the Boeing Compliance Offices.
Certifies the shipment of dangerous goods.
Investigates loss and damage claims to carriers.
Designs transportation plans and solutions.
Provides program managers with the development of transportation plans.
Position is 100% onsite at Hazelwood, MO and is for 1st shift.
Export Control Requirements This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet these requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications – Associate Level 2
More than 1 year of experience in Domestic and International Supply Chain Logistics.
More than 1 year of experience in a role that required strong communication and interpersonal skills.
More than 1 year of experience in a role that required teaming and collaboration skills, and ability to work well with a geographically dispersed cross‑functional and matrix team.
Experience working with import and export licenses and regulations for maintaining compliance with transportation regulations for international and domestic shipments.
