Role Summary The Dispensary Associate – Part‑time is responsible for guiding a customer on their journey into cannabis by educating them on the benefits and potential side effects. In this role, you will need to be knowledgeable enough to speak to customers about various products and their effects while providing excellent customer service. The primary function of a Dispensary Associate is to facilitate a customer’s purchase in accordance with state regulations, while delivering an exceptional experience.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service to customers, guests, and coworkers.
Offer empathy and compassion to patients.
Deliver the TruExperience through elevated patient service standards, behaviors, and product knowledge.
Assist managers and shift supervisors with returns in accordance with company policy.
Prepare and process patient orders in a timely and efficient manner.
Follow Trulieve policies and procedures.
Work directly with the leader on duty to enhance the customer experience.
Assist customers with any product or device issues.
Collaborate with leadership and management to resolve customer issues.
Document customer issues and concerns on the customer’s profile.
Maintain a clean and well‑stocked workstation throughout the shift.
Perform any additional tasks as assigned by management.
Skills and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 21 years of age (or 18 for CT, PA, WV).
Prior experience in retail and/or customer service is a plus.
Cash handling experience required.
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
Excellent people skills and effective verbal and written communication.
Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism.
Understanding and following written or oral instructions.
Operation of electronic equipment (computer, laptop) and telecommunication devices.
Physical ability to perform required duties.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (delivery driver role).
Background record check pass required.
Physical Requirements Constantly required to move/traverse throughout the entire facility, including confined spaces; frequently required to manipulate objects up to 50 lbs; occasionally required to remain in a seated position.
Work Schedule Flexible hours depending on store needs. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. This position will work up to 25 hours per week and will be available "after hours" based on business needs.
