Front Desk Agent Albert Hotel is hiring for a Front Desk Agent. Albert Hotel is an urban oasis tucked away off Main Street in the heart of Fredericksburg, TX. Opened in January 2025, the property features 105 guest rooms, suites, unique bunk rooms, a private house with custom furnishings, and locally-curated amenities.

Our elevated amenities include a sunken limestone pool with an outdoor bar and cabanas, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a 2,000-square-foot full-service spa. The hotel also hosts four on-site culinary outlets, including The Restaurant at Albert. Albert boasts 3,600-square-foot semi-open air event space, a 1,200-square-foot mezzanine deck, and an expansive lawn, making it a prime destination for weddings, private events, and intimate gatherings.

What you’ll do

Greet all guests and provide a genuine welcome that makes each feel important

Be attentive to entrance activity, ensuring the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and that work areas remain clean and organized

View reservations before arrival and create guest profiles to enhance their experience

Check guests in and out of the hotel confidently, professionally, and personally

Take hotel reservations accurately and efficiently and answer calls in a timely and courteous manner

Maintain an accurate log of guest calls for assistance or feedback and ensure all items are completed

Open, secure, and balance shift banks, verifying all cash, credit card, and room charge transactions during each shift

Maintain accuracy with all accounting and billing procedures

Assist in the development and implementation of special projects

Have comprehensive knowledge of hotel availability, current rates, and special events that may impact occupancy

Possess fluency regarding local restaurants, events, city attractions, amenities, and directions

Respond immediately to guest comments and concerns, inform a supervisor, and apply corrective measures when necessary

Who you are

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

6+ months of related experience in hospitality, service, or retail preferred

Proficiency navigating, operating, and troubleshooting computer systems and software applications

Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships and speak effectively with guests and co‑workers

Effective time‑management and organizational skills; capacity to prioritize tasks and follow through to achieve expected results

Strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously
