About the Role We are looking for a Level 3 Program Planner to support a one‑of‑a‑kind Cross Business Area campaign that exemplifies our commitment to our OneLM Strategy. The Planner will thrive in a dynamic environment and lead by example, influencing and fostering collaboration for impactful results.
Responsibilities
Serve as the lead Planner for a program
Develop, manage, and analyze Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) in order to monitor progress, assess program status, and identify performance issues in a timely manner
Ensure established program baseline control processes are followed and oversee business rhythms required to accomplish program control, analyses and forecasting goals
Use critical path methodology, risk analysis, and problem resolution to mitigate delays/issues that arise, communicate schedule impacts and propose corrective actions to applicable program partners
Synchronize cost/schedule integration in support of Earned Value requirements and generate schedule metrics and reports related to the implementation of the Program
Conduct schedule presentations which may include Program Management, Executive Management, or Customer Stakeholders
Develop recovery plans to ensure program milestones are completed in accordance with the contract requirements
Work with cross‑functional teams to maintain and coordinate vertical and horizontal schedule integration between supplemental schedules, the IMS, and the Program Summary Master Schedule
Our level 3 employees typically have 5‑10 years of experience.
Basic Qualifications
5‑10 years of planning experience
Experience with networked schedules, schedule integrity checks, and critical path methodology
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with Open Plan or another comparable scheduling tool
Earned Value Management (EVM) experience
Demonstrated ability to compile, prepare and present information to management and customers
Desired Skills
Bachelors degree preferred
Extensive Microsoft Project Server or Open Plan experience
Microsoft Excel experience
Leadership qualities and desires
Strong influencing and relationship skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of an integrated team
Ability to liaise with, speak and present effectively to personnel at all levels of the organization
Strong communication and relationship management skills
Strong sense of follow‑up and closure with strict attention to detail and quality

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $77,700 – $136,965. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
