About the Role
The
EHS Manager
leads Environmental, Health, and Safety efforts at the facility, driving compliance, continuous improvement, and a strong safety culture. You’ll partner with plant leadership to reduce risk, prevent injuries, and ensure all regulatory and company safety standards are met.
What You’ll Do
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other EHS regulations
Lead safety programs focused on injury prevention and cost reduction
Develop and deliver safety training across the facility
Manage Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, and Fire Prevention programs
Lead audits, inspections, and corrective action follow-up
Review new equipment and processes for safety compliance
Administer Workers’ Compensation and return-to-work programs
Serve as the facility lead for emergency response and security incidents
Manage the EHS budget and support other Hoffmaster facilities as needed
Promote a visible, proactive, injury-free safety culture
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and safety regulations
Experience leading audits, training programs, and safety initiatives
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Ability to travel up to 10–20%
