Job Description The Associate Director, Change Management Communications will support marketing transformation efforts by shaping clear, timely, and effective communications that help organizations navigate change. This role blends strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, partnering with clients and internal teams to guide stakeholders through complex initiatives, drive adoption, and reinforce new ways of working. The individual will operate comfortably in a fast‑moving, matrixed environment, serving as a trusted communications partner during periods of ambiguity and transformation.
Responsibilities We are seeking a strategic and hands‑on Associate Director, Change Management Communications to:
Manage the development and orchestration of Marketing Change Management Communications Strategies aligned with major organizational change initiatives for key Publicis clients
Apply recognized frameworks (Prosci ADKAR or equivalent) to align messaging, stakeholder engagement, and reinforcement plans with Marketing Transformation program goals
Own the end‑to‑end communications cadence, including stakeholder mapping, change‑champions coordination, and reinforcement touchpoints
Develop and maintain a change comms editorial calendar that aligns key milestones, L&D waves, and business rhythms across multiple client divisions and segments
Serve as the specialist comms advisor within the TMO, providing counsel on frameworks, tone, timing, message sequencing, and storytelling through ambiguity and disruption
Partner with TMO, PMO, and internal capability teams to synchronize comms with project status, deployment timelines, and readiness tracking
Help craft, orchestrate, and deliver L&D strategies that drive upskilling, and expedite Transformation initiatives, integrating comms with enablement and L&D, designing training journeys, modules, guides, and events that accelerate adoption and proficiency
Support with crafting leader‑ready materials, FAQs, talking points, videos, all‑hands decks, for consistent, high‑impact delivery
Measure adoption and engagement metrics (awareness, activation, enablement, sentiment) and use insights to refine strategy and prove impact
Oversee governance and brand consistency across all channels, ensuring compliant, inclusive, and risk‑appropriate communications
Explore, and make proactive suggestions around improvements to comms processes, including using AI tools and practices to streamline and expedite the delivery of Comms programs
Qualifications
4‑7 years of change communications experience within a major organization, either a global professional services consultancy or marketing services agency
Deep understanding of Change Management theory and practice (including ADKAR, stakeholder management, individual & collective change dynamics, reinforcement) and ability to apply it to communications strategy
Proven experience leading communications for large‑scale Marketing transformational change initiatives (digital transformation, operating model redesign, global rollout)
Exceptional interpersonal, writing, storytelling and messaging skills, with the ability to synthesize complex topics into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences
Strong strategic mindset, excellent project management skills and the ability to oversee multiple, simultaneous, change program communications
Comfortable advising clients and internal leaders
Experience working in a matrix organization and influencing people across different teams and capabilities
High degree of adaptability, resilience and empathy, able to lead communications in ambiguous, fast‑moving change environments
Bachelor’s degree (Communications, Change Management, Marketing, Organizational Development or related)

Compensation Range: $97,375 - $155,961. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third‑party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
