AWS is seeking an experienced Sr. Account Manager for selling to Strategic ISVs and expanding the business with our hottest ISV customers. The Sr. Account Manager will be responsible for setting a long‑term strategy and executing daily to grow customers. In addition to being a customer, these companies partner with AWS as an ISV and have multiple GTM goals. In the role, you will build and maintain broad relationships, develop and manage opportunities, and facilitate a large team of extended resources.

Role & Responsibilities The Account Manager is responsible for teaming with all aspects of the customer’s organization, including C‑level executives, engineering, IT/operations, partner org, and sales. Build relationships across the account using creative systems thinking, visioning, and collaborating with extended teams to address all ISV customer needs. Sell at the most strategic (C‑level) within the account, implement a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation. Work collaboratively with AWS resources—executives, partners, support, solution architects—to support customer interests, strongly advocate for the customer in harmony with AWS business needs. In addition to new service adoption and new line‑of‑business development, this role includes dotted line responsibility for partnership and technical collaboration.

Basic Qualifications

7+ years of technology sales selling enterprise software, networking, infrastructure, managed hosting services, or cloud computing services experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Compensation & Benefits Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
