This role does more than advise; it designs, builds, and drives delivery of IDEA-integrated workforce initiatives, including the design and activation of future-focused talent pathways and enterprise mechanisms that strengthen how we build and diversify critical talent pipelines. The Consultant owns the end-to-end activation of these solutions: shaping strategy, creating frameworks and tools, piloting with the business, measuring impact, and ensuring sustainable handoff into TA, GTD and TM operating rhythms. This role is a connector, a builder and an implementer, ensuring IDEA 2030 outcomes move from concept to execution across the full talent lifecycle.**Your Responsibilities:*** Lead the design, build and activation of future-focused talent pathways and enterprise mechanisms that strengthen how Elanco attracts, develops and advances diverse talent across the organization.* Own the creation of frameworks, toolkits, processes and metrics that enable TA, GTD and TM to consistently embed IDEA principles across hiring, development, assessment and mobility practices.* Drive cross-functional implementation plans by coordinating timelines, deliverables and stakeholder commitments to convert IDEA strategy into operational talent solutions.* Embed multi-generational, cross-cultural and cognitive diversity capabilities into TA, GTD and TM operating rhythms by designing practical resources, enablement tools and scalable adoption mechanisms.* Serve as a connector and program owner who translates workforce insights, ERG learnings and IDEA metrics into integrated talent interventions and ensures they deliver measurable impact.* Partner with Global ERG Leaders and HRBPs to connect ERG programs to business-relevant talent outcomes and leadership development.**Specific Responsibilities:*** Expand inclusive apprenticeship models for Manufacturing, and other business units, where applicable, in partnership with TA, GTD and local market leaders.* Co-create rotational and early-career frameworks for engineering, automation and marketing functions aligned with Elanco’s talent pipeline needs.* Inclusive hiring and inclusive management training (especially for new leaders), collecting and analyzing data (sourcing, etc.), etc.* Partner with TA-Student Programs, university and industry organizations to establish sustainable talent feeder partnerships reflective of Elanco’s global footprint.* Analyze talent data to identify representation gaps and advise TA about sourcing strategies and external partnerships.* Collaborate with GTD to integrate IDEA principles across leadership development, coaching practices and enterprise learning experiences, shaping Leader 2030 offerings, informing bias-mitigating tools, supporting program redesign and strengthening accessibility across global learning delivery.* Partner with Talent Management to embed inclusion principles into talent assessments, performance reviews and succession planning – introducing IDEA-aligned checkpoints and cognitive diversity insights that strengthen equitable evaluation and development processes.* Support integration of IDEA metrics into TA dashboards and talent reviews for continuous improvement and risk-smart governance.* Coach ERG Global Leaders to leverage their leadership roles as professional development opportunities and business impact levers.* Contribute to IDEA quarterly reviews with Legal, Comms and HR COEs to ensure ethical AI use in hiring and promotion systems.**Measures of Success:*** Launch and adoption of new apprenticeship and rotational programs with measurable outcomes.* Demonstrated integration of IDEA metrics into TA forecasting and GTD planning tools.* Increased cross-functional collaboration between IDEA, TA and GTD reflected in global dashboards and risk reviews.* Improved workforce diversity and internal mobility within key functions (e.g., Manufacturing, Engineering, Marketing).**What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):*** **Education**: Bachelor’s Degree.* **Required Experience**: A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, or DEI program design.* Experience designing workforce programs (apprenticeships, early-career rotations) across multiple regions including data-driven consulting, translating analytics into actionable workforce insights and strong stakeholder management, influencing and facilitation skills across business units and levels.**What Will Give You the Competitive Edge (preferred qualifications):*** Advanced degree* Familiarity with AI-enabled TA systems and ethical governance considerations**Additional Information:*** **Travel:** Up to 10%* **Location:** Global Elanco Headquarters - Indianapolis, IN - Hybrid Work EnvironmentDon’t meet every single
