Job Description A media client is seeking a Live Reliability Engineer to join their team for night and weekend support of a 2026 global live event season. The ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience in broadcast reliability engineering, with a strong monitoring skillset and proven ability to troubleshoot under real time pressure for live events. This resource will be working a 4x10 schedule with flexible hours based on global event times Thursday-Sunday, these hours will vary but will be predictable based on the season schedule of events. This role is a 9 month contract with possibility of extension or conversion and fully onsite in Culver City, CA.

Required Skills & Experience
5-7+ years of Broadcast Reliability Engineering experience
Experience with broadcast systems, video transport, + live production
Strong monitoring experience working in NOC type environment with real time pressure
Well versed with video production + live HLS encoding technologies
Familiar with Transport Stream signaling protocols, such as SCTE-35/104 and SCTE-224/ESNI
Available for flexible Weekend + Night schedule
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Enterprise level experience supporting globally streamed live events
