We are currently seeking Wind Turbine Technicians to join our dynamic team. Qualified candidates will operate and maintain multiple wind farm sites, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical components on multiple turbine brands. Essential Job Functions
Carry out duties with a primary focus on safety and quality. Understand metric and imperial measurement systems. Consistently complete timecards, expense reports, and job‑related incidentals. Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Apply principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to design and produce various goods and services. Problem‑solve issues as they arise and troubleshoot equipment, machines, wiring, or computer programs. Understand direct current, alternating current, and electronics. Write reports, complete work orders, chart information, and track progress on tasks. Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and employees. Lead teams, train new employees, conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards, and pursue continuous professional development. Additional duties as required. Required Qualifications
Electrical or mechanical experience of at least four years. For entry‑level applicants, provide proof of Wind Technician Certification from an accredited Wind Academy or equivalent Trade School. Possess excellent electrical and mechanical skills. Knowledge of turbine‑related machinery and tools, including design, uses, repair, and maintenance. Knowledge of circuit boards, electronic equipment, computer hardware and software, including applications and programming. Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations. Willing to learn and progress into a stronger role, such as troubleshooting, commissioning, or serving as lead technician on site. Any experience with turbine technology and/or being up‑tower on platforms welcomed, including solar/off‑shore experience. Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, work instructions, manuals. Physical Requirements
Capable of lifting at least 40‑100 lbs. Capable of bending, twisting, and lifting items overhead. Capable of climbing a wind tower up to 400 ft in height up to three times daily. Variable weather conditions and climbing up to 400 feet in height. Additional Information
Fluent English verbal and written communications skills are required. Must have current valid driver’s license and fit‑to‑drive record with no more than two moving violations in the past three years, including passing a Motor Vehicle Record. Ability to pass a criminal background check (project/client dependent). Able to travel up to 90% of the time. Benefits
