Responsibilities
Design, develop, configure, and customize IBM Sterling OMS components (e.g., order capture, sourcing, fulfillment, inventory visibility).
Implement dynamic routing, sourcing, pipelines, user exits, and agent frameworks.
Integrate OMS with ERP, WMS, e-commerce platforms via APIs (REST/SOAP, JMS, MQ).
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in development, staging, and production.
Participate in deployments, SIT/UAT test cycles, and support releases.
Work with cross-functional teams (business, QA, infrastructure) in Agile environments.
Typical Skills Required
Strong Java / J2EE coding skills and OMS framework expertise.
XML, XSLT, API integration, SQL/DB knowledge.
OMS config: DOM, GIV, sourcing rules, pipelines, agents.
Debugging, performance tuning, RCA (root-cause analysis).
