Unit Secretary - Medical Surgical Department

Work location: Texas Health Dallas 8200 Walnut Hill Ln. Dallas, TX 75231 Work hours: Full-Time, Days, 36 hours weekly, 9:00am - 9:00pm, Rotating weekend and holiday requirements. Medical Surgical Department Highlights: 12-bed, Level 1 trauma unit. Supportive team environment. New and advanced equipment and technology.

Here's what you need: High School Diploma or Equivalent 1 year of healthcare experience strongly preferred Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast-paced work environment, positive interpersonal skills, and good verbal and written communication skills. CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Required

What you will do: Organizational/Technical Skills: Performs all tasks to meet the needs of physicians, staff, patient, and other customers. Demonstrates acceptable organizational skills. Communicates effectively. Interactions include consideration for patient population specific needs. Takes action to reduce/eliminate patient risks.
