We are seeking a skilled Engineering Technician to provide product design support for standard or custom power units. You will work closely with Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, performing prototyping, troubleshooting, and validation activities.
Responsibilities
Support design engineers in prototyping new product designs, including new designs and subassemblies.
Assist in regulatory agency testing and preparation, such as UL, CSA, and TUV.
Prototype concepts using available materials.
Assist in debugging production problems.
Create manufacturing instructions.
Conduct testing and troubleshooting of new products, particularly load banks.
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience with power or electromechanical products.
Proficiency in testing and troubleshooting.
Previous electrical wiring experience.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Two-year degree in a relevant field.
Experience with low and medium voltage power systems.
Proficiency in MS-Office desktop solutions, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Work Environment The role is based in a newly renovated office located close to the manufacturing facility. You will be part of a growing team in a company that has experienced significant growth. This hands‑on position offers the chance to work with innovative products and contribute to a thriving industry.
Job Type & Location Contract to Hire position based out of Valley View, OH.
Pay And Benefits Pay range: $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
