Dental Surgical Assistant
to join our high-performing oral surgery team. With over 40 years of excellence serving the Greater Albany region, CDOMS is the trusted referral destination for implants, wisdom teeth, IV sedation, and complex oral surgery.

Why You’ll Love Working With CDOMS
$18–$23/hr , based on experience & certifications
Full-time benefits : medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, life & disability insurance
Generous PTO : 3 weeks + 8 paid holidays

Built-in 1-hour lunch break
(1–2 PM daily)
CE opportunities, mentorship & surgical skill development
Advanced oral surgery setting : CBCT, 3D imaging, digital charting
Team-based care : 3 assistants per pod + dedicated nursing support
High patient volume
= strong hands‑on experience
Your Role
Chairside assisting during oral surgery procedures (implants, extractions, IV sedation)
Prepare surgical rooms, instruments, and patient charts
Assist anesthesia team and monitor patient comfort
Take and process digital x-rays and CBCT imaging
Sterilize instruments following strict surgical protocols
Manage surgical inventory and implant tracking
Provide clear pre‑ and post‑op instructions to patients
Maintain accurate electronic documentation
What We’re Looking For
✔ High school diploma or equivalent
✔
1+ year of dental assisting experience
(oral surgery preferred)
✔ CODA‑accredited DA program (preferred)
✔ DANB CDA / ICE / RHS certifications (preferred)
✔ Oral Surgery Assistant certification (a plus)
✔ CPR/BLS certified
✔ Calm, professional chairside manner
✔ Strong attention to detail & teamwork mindset
