Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Active Oregon Registered Nurse license

BLS certification through the American Heart Association

ACLS certification through the American Heart Association

PALS certification through the American Heart Association

NRP certification through the American Academy of Pediatrics within 90 days of hire

Minimum 1 year of charge nurse or nursing leadership experience

Demonstrated leadership, communication, and crisis management skills

Job Overview The House Supervisor RN provides day-to-day coordination and leadership for hospital operations during assigned shifts. This role supports nursing staff through mentorship, guidance, and real-time problem solving while ensuring safe staffing, effective communication, and smooth clinical operations. The House Supervisor collaborates closely with Nurse Managers to assist with staffing decisions, crisis response, and evaluation of nursing care delivery. Responsibilities include acting as a clinical resource, supporting leadership during urgent situations, and initiating disaster preparedness protocols when necessary. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership presence, clear communication skills, and the ability to function confidently in high-acuity and time-sensitive situations.
