Responsibilities Dental Hygienist

We Provide:
State of the art portable equipment and supplies
All scheduling and billing is completed by 360Care
Full office support including a Care Coordination team handling all consents, pre‑authorizations, patient scheduling, post‑op and IT support
Field support and mentorship from Clinical Director
PPE
Qualifications Essential Job Functions:
Oral Health Assessments: Conduct thorough oral health assessments, including for signs of oral diseases and abnormalities.
Teeth Cleaning: Perform dental cleanings, including removing plaque, calculus, and stains from teeth.
Preventative Treatment: Apply preventative treatments like fluoride applications and sealants.
Patient Education: Educate patients and families on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing and dietary recommendations.
Radiographs: Take digital dental x‑rays as needed.
Record Keeping: Accurate and timely updates to patient records including documenting treatments and observations.
Assist Dentist during exams and procedures as needed.
Assist with patient transportation.
Communicate effectively with all patients, family members, providers, faculty, and staff.
Provide timely responses to patient inquiries; document conversations in the EMR.
Requires travel up to 100% of the time.
Must have own reliable transportation, good driving record, and car insurance.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid dental hygiene license.
Must have obtained or be in process of obtaining appropriate certificate to practice independently.
