Facilities Maintenance Supervisor – Airbus Helicopters, Columbus, Mississippi
Job Description Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance and operations of facilities, grounds, buildings and operations. The role supervises AHI and contracted maintenance staff, coordinates Facilities Service Center activities, plans repairs and preventive maintenance, procures materials and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Your Challenges Primary Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all facilities maintenance personnel and activities.
Develop and schedule routine preventive & predictive maintenance; ensure on‑time completion and customer satisfaction.
Prepare detailed scopes of work (SOW) for contracting maintenance and project estimates.
Ensure contract compliance and KPI tracking.
Prep purchase requisitions and track purchase orders; validate invoices.
Assist with standard inspections and repairs of electrical, mechanical, plumbing and other systems.
Maintain inventory of maintenance consumables, supplies and critical spares.
Conduct weekly meetings, prepare reports on maintenance projects, SQCDP, safety, site activities.
Respond promptly to maintenance notifications; available 24/7/365 for emergencies.
Inspect facilities for maintenance, repairs, and continuous improvement opportunities.
Assist Facilities Manager in planning CAPEX investments.
Ensure facility meets sustainability objectives.
Ensure safety compliance for maintenance activities; participate in safety culture programs.
Fleet Coordination (15%)
Coordinate fleet vehicles for services, inspections, repairs and collision situations.
Assist with leased vehicles as requested.
Perform procurement tasks for fleet maintenance.
Additional Responsibilities
Conduct management‑level presentations that achieve desired outcomes.
Other duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager.
Qualified Experience and Training Education
High School diploma
Associate’s degree in Industrial Technology, Engineering, Facilities Management (preferred)
Experience
7+ years facilities management operation experience.
3+ years oversight of team performance and professional development.
Effective verbal and written communication in English.
Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
Ability to draft presentations and technical reports for management.
OSHA 10 certification.
AutoCAD/CAFT highly desired; basic skills preferred.
Travel Required
5% domestic and international.
Physical Requirements
Onsite 90% / remote 10%.
Vision, hearing, speaking and equipment operation as listed in original job description.
Carry, push, pull, squat, stand tasks up to 30 lbs.
Travel independently on short notice.
Personal protective equipment required (safety shoes, glasses, hearing protection, respirators, gloves, etc.).
Administrative position only PPE requirements similar to the above.
Other Requirements US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or covered under existing ITAR license).
