Responsibilities
Maintain and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and systems.
Ensure safe operation of highly complex systems and equipment.
Manage specific systems including electronic/pneumatic environmental controls, fan‑powered boxes and auxiliary equipment (various pumps, heat exchangers, air compressors, etc.), chiller operations, BAS controls, pump operations, water treatment program, air handler units, VAVs, walk‑in coolers and freezers, refrigerators, ice machines and boiler operations.
Qualifications
Minimum Education Required: High school diploma or GED.
Minimum Experience Required: Three (3) years of Maintenance Tech experience, including HVAC experience. Experience may be substituted for a graduate of an HVAC program. For systems that include BAS controls, experience must include one (1) year of commercial/healthcare HVAC/HVAC BAS experience or graduation from a BAS program.
Minimum Licensure/Certification Required By Law: None.
Additional Qualifications: Graduate of Vocational School preferred.
