Lathe Machinist II - 2nd Shift
East Aurora, NY – Onsite. Second Shift. Reporting to: Leader, Performance.
Responsibilities
Work under minimum supervision and assist in planning work and solving problems within the cell.
Perform set‑ups and run parts on a CNC lathe with milling capabilities to achieve tight tolerances, fine finishes, and complex geometry.
Inspect all work performed, set up or adjust gaging equipment, detect unusual conditions and deviant parts, and when needed recognize errors in blueprints and operation sheets.
Interpret complex drawings, including GD&T blueprints, sketches, and operation sheets.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED preferred; if not, demonstrated ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer work instructions in English, and perform simple arithmetic.
At least 3 years of experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist, working with lathe machines that have milling capabilities.
Demonstrated working knowledge of G‑Code (preferred).
Knowledge of Fanuc controls (plus).
