Position Summary We are seeking a motivated Press Brake Operator Trainee to join our manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in metal fabrication with hands-on training in press brake operation.
Key Responsibilities
Review setup sheets, blueprints, and specifications to determine proper setup procedures and finished part dimensions.
Install and align tooling on the press brake machine bed.
Program machine stops and operate a 6-axis back gauge.
Form initial parts and verify dimensions for inspection.
Perform general shop duties as assigned.
Safely lift up to 50 pounds and meet physical requirements including standing, walking, reaching, and bending throughout the shift.
Qualifications
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn press brake operations.
Ability to read basic blueprints and measurements (training provided).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Dependable attendance and positive attitude.
Previous manufacturing or metal fabrication experience is a plus, but not required.
