Job Description We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Business Analyst to join our Data and Reporting Team as part of our ongoing digital transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in data, reporting, and ERP systems, with the ability to work closely with senior business stakeholders to elicit requirements and translate them for a technical team. This role demands a high level of attention to detail, exceptional documentation skills, the ability to effectively manage a backlog of work, and a commitment to best practices and innovative solutions.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead the collaboration with senior business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze comprehensive requirements for data and reporting needs.
Translate complex business needs into detailed technical specifications for data analysis and reporting.
Partner with the development team to ensure accurate translation of business requirements into technical solutions.
Oversee and coordinate testing activities to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data and reporting solutions.
Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and secure signoff from senior business stakeholders.
Create detailed documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
Independently manage the backlog of work, ensuring tasks are prioritized and completed efficiently.
Provide expert-level support and training to business users on data and reporting tools and solutions.
Design and implement performance metrics to continuously measure and assess solution performance and effectiveness.
Continuously identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and innovation within the data and reporting domain.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent years of experience)
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on data and reporting.
Strong expertise in data analysis, data visualization, and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric).
Proven experience working with senior business stakeholders to elicit and document complex requirements.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring
Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA) is extremely preferred.
Working knowledge of agile methodologies and experience managing a scrum board and backlog.
Experience with large-scale digital transformation initiatives and/or ERP implementation.
