We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support providers in delivering high-quality patient care. The CMA will perform clinical and administrative tasks including patient intake, vital signs, assisting with procedures, and maintaining accurate documentation in electronic health records.
Key Responsibilities
Perform patient intake, record vital signs, and document medical histories
Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments
Administer injections and vaccines as directed
Conduct EKGs, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing
Prepare and maintain exam rooms, instruments, and supplies
Collect and process laboratory specimens
Accurately document patient care in electronic health records (EHR)
Adhere to infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA)
Proficiency in patient intake, vital signs, and basic clinical assessments
Strong knowledge of EHR documentation and medical terminology
Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient healthcare setting
Familiarity with medication reconciliation and assisting with minor procedures
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Certifications (if any)
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
