Summary The Associate Director of Training for the Medical Content and Training (MCT) team in Global Oncology Medical Affairs (GOMA) is responsible for the development of global training curricula and execution of global training plans for the assigned compound(s). Working closely with cross-functional global and regional teams to understand knowledge gaps, this position supports scientific readiness of the Medical Affairs teams and the development of training content and events.
Responsibilities
Plan, develop, and execute GOMA educational training initiatives to enhance capabilities and effectiveness
Develop high-quality medical trainings, aligned to the medical strategy
Apply learning principles to the execution of training content and events to optimize training effectiveness
Utilize measurements of training quality and effectiveness
Partner with internal stakeholders to proactively identify knowledge gaps and training needs, to establish learning curricula ensuring expertise within Medical Affairs teams
Lead launch training planning team to support launch readiness of Medical Affairs teams
Develop and create launch materials that includes innovative and interactive training modalities
Execute live Medical Affairs training meetings to support launch in regions as needed
Build training programs to support onboarding within Medical Affairs
Drive continuous improvement by consistently enhancing educational programs and lead initiatives to apply innovative training initiatives
Serve as integral member of the GOMA Team to
Ensure regional training functions are aligned with the overall global medical strategies and objectives
Assure knowledge and information transfer between regional and global training function and other functions across Global/Regional Medical Affairs
Oversee projects/initiatives within GOMA, or across functions, as assigned
Participate in development and maintenance of a global medical training platform
Assist in developing/reviewing/updating Global policies and procedures

Education Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required
Master's Degree in Health Science preferred (may be considered with additional experience)
PharmD preferred
PhD preferred
MD preferred
Experience Qualifications
7 or more years of overall related experience or commensurate education/experience, with at least 5 of the 7 year being professional level experience required
4 or more years in a medically-related field including industry experience in Medical Affairs preferred.
Demonstrated expertise in working successfully with cross-functional teams to achieve results preferred.
Physical Requirements Travel: Ability to travel up to 20%; International and domestic business travel.

Salary Range Salary Range:
$159,440.00 - $239,160.00
