Pay: $75,000 - $95,000
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm
Requirements
Previous shop leadership experience required
Vendor negotiation experience preferred
Valid Drivers License

Job Responsibilities
Oversee assigned maintenance shop(s) ensuring appropriately staffed, operating within budget constraints and meets all safety requirements.
Ensure shop building and yard are appropriately equipped with tools and safety equipment.
Ensure assigned employees have completed assigned training for safety programs and acquired certification where necessary.
Ensure the shop meets all government regulations (state and federal E.P.A. OSHA).
Lead the maintenance shop and provides daily supervision of shop supervisors/lead persons/shop employees.
Monitor purchases and takes corrective action when out of compliance with KNX policies/procedures.
Determines best solution for repair decisions made on equipment in assigned shop(s).
Leads accident estimates and bids for equipment outsourced from their location.
Negotiate with local vendor for uniforms, trash, hazardous material disposal, chemical supplies, etc.
Ensure assigned customer locations have a written schedule on when tire inflation and safety checks are performed.
Lead customer site trailer maintenance and provide feedback on Customer site programs.
Interact with all departments to measure maintenance performance; make corrective action recommendations based on findings.
Participate in field maintenance cost reduction programs and interacts effectively with company and departmental personnel.
Conduct and/or coordinate reviews of SOP programs and policies to ensure appropriate support is provided to their shop.
Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objective.
Qualifications
4+ years heavy duty vehicle maintenance experience required.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be proficient with Microsoft suite.
