The hands-on Senior Network Administrator maintains and supports the computing environment, monitors and protects the network, and resolves or coordinates IT equipment–related issues.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and support networks and servers
Maintain and oversee the Helpdesk.
Monitor system stability and performance; troubleshoot and resolve issues
Administer Windows Servers and domain services (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO)
Administer critical cloud infrastructure such as Azure, Entra, AWS
Manage wired and wireless networks (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, WLCs, WAPs)
Support VoIP systems and data circuits (broadband, fiber, Internet)
Maintain virtual and hyper‑converged infrastructure
Implement and maintain cybersecurity, backup, and disaster recovery policies
Manage Office 365 policies and administration
Provide end‑user support for workstations and peripherals, including desktop phones, thermal and laser printers, and laser scanners
Work with vendors and implement new technologies
Train and mentor team members
Other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
Strong communication, problem‑solving, and analytical skills
Data center and technical management experience
Ability to coordinate with staff and stakeholders
Experience with Scale Computing, Fortinet, and VMware
Education & Experience
5+ years of IT networking experience required
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Certifications and continuous education recommended
