Assists the Registered Professional Nurse in the care of the telemetry patient. Utilizes cardiac monitoring equipment and interprets cardiac rhythms. Maintains an organized and clean work environment. Responds in emergency situations. Education And Credentials
HS diploma or GED required. AAS in a healthcare related field preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 6 months of hire. National Telemetry Association, NTA Telemetry Certification required within 12 months of hire into a Monitor Tech position. Experience
1 year of experience in a hospital setting with bedside clinical experience required. 1 year of experience as a monitor tech or related experience preferred. 1 year of experience as an EMT preferred. Job Details
Standard Hours Bi-Weekly : 45.75 FTE: 0.61 Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Yes On Call Required: No With Rotation: No Work Arrangement: Onsite Union Code: U07 - CWA 1168 BGH TCC Requisition ID#: 10197 Grade: T3 Pay Frequency: Bi-Weekly Salary Range: $21.15 - $26.79 per hour Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
