Paralegal for a Trusts & Estates Firm
Regional boutique law firm with offices in NY, NJ, MA and NH concentrating in the areas of tax, trusts, estates and elder law, seeks an experienced Paralegal for our Exeter, NH office. The successful candidate will have a positive, professional demeanor and experience working in a legal setting. Experience in a Mac office environment is a plus. Notary license also a plus.
Requirements & Qualifications
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and projects at hand
Able to organize and manage large amounts of files, tasks, schedules, and confidential information
Proficiency with MS Office 365, especially Outlook, Word and Excel. We will train on our cloud-based time-tracking & billing software (CLIO)
Driven, self-directed and able to work without supervision to meet deadlines
Resourceful problem-solver with a strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; numerate and literate.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for client workflow process.
Uploading court filings.
Correspondence with clients and business colleagues
Administration of trusts and estates at various lifecycle stages
Interfacing with outside accountants to assist with tax preparation and filing
Scanning and filing of electronic and paper-based documents in cloud storage
Supporting attorneys with calendar management and meeting arrangements
Participating in client document execution and ceremonies
Maintaining a proactive role in implementing firm-wide best practices
Job Type Full-time, no remote or work from home.
Salary & Benefits Competitive salary depending on relevant experience. Our benefits package includes 4 weeks paid time, 401K with 3% match and company-sponsored healthcare insurance.
