**Job Description:****Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:**• Lead the design and implementation of manufacturing processes, equipment layouts, and production workflows to improve efficiency and safety.
• Analyze production data and process performance to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with product design, quality, and operations teams to ensure manufacturability and alignment with production capabilities.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, and process documentation.
• Support the introduction of new products and technologies into manufacturing by coordinating trials, validations, and training.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools, equipment, and technologies to enhance production capabilities.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Manufacturing Engineer I and other team members.
• Participate in cross-functional projects focused on lean manufacturing, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all engineering activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.**Education and Experience Requirements:**Requires a four-year ABET-accredited degree in engineering or an equivalent technical degree in applied sciences; 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role within the HVAC or a similar industry; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies preferred.**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**• Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes and production systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Effective communication and leadership abilities
• Experience with process improvement tools and methodologies
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
