Distribution Engineers
to join our
Electric Distribution Team
in
Knoxville, TN
where you will play a key role in building smarter, more resilient energy systems. This is your chance to grow professionally while making a meaningful impact on how communities access and depend on electricity.
What You'll Do:
Assist in the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for electric distribution infrastructure including overhead and underground systems
Support senior engineers in preparing technical reports, contract documents, and cost estimates for grid resiliency and energy transition projects
Perform calculations and design tasks using industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and best practices for optimizing energy delivery
Join field assignments with senior staff to gain hands‑on experience in assessment, planning, and rehabilitation of electric distribution systems
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering required
No experience required; however prior internships and/or relevant coursework are preferred
Strong theoretical foundation and familiarity with engineering software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative team
Participation in professional engineering society/organization preferred
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification a plus

Salary Range: $72,000 - $75,000
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
