PIRTEK, the nation’s leading provider for on‑site hydraulic and industrial hose replacement, is hiring a Hose Installation Mechanic to service, assemble and install hoses for a diverse customer base including manufacturing, construction, and rental companies. Applicants should have a strong customer service mindset, hands‑on mechanical experience, and excellent communication skills. This role offers a career opportunity in a purpose‑built mobile hose workshop/van.
Responsibilities
Service, assemble and install hoses for a diverse customer base
Carry out service calls in the local area (Auburn Hills and vicinity)
Maintain relationships with existing customers
Develop new business and relationships with new customers
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Mechanically inclined with hands‑on experience in auto, off‑road vehicle, or machinery repair
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude and self‑motivated
Sound organization and planning skills
Clean driving record
Benefits
Competitive compensation: $21–$28 per hour, depending on experience, plus overtime payment; bonus granted monthly based on generated revenue
