Overview Liberty National Golf Club is one of the premier golf facilities in the United States, known for excellence in instruction, performance development, and member experience. The club's Performance Center features cutting‑edge technology and a collaborative, high‑performance coaching environment supporting players of all levels, from members to elite competitors.

The Teaching Professional will work directly under Director of Performance Jorge Parada and alongside an elite team including playing professional and former PGA Tour player Nick Thompson, Director of Fitness Joe Lego, and TrueSpec Clubfitter Sean Erhardt.

Position Overview We are seeking a motivated, high‑energy Teaching Professional to join the Liberty National Golf Club Performance Center team. This role is ideal for a young, up‑and‑coming golf instructor who is passionate about player development and eager to grow within the golf industry.

This position is designed for a professional with aspirations to become a Director of Instruction or similar leadership role at a top facility in the near future. Liberty National will actively support this vision through mentorship, hands‑on experience, continued education, and industry networking. The successful candidate will gain direct exposure to elite coaching environments and high‑level player development.

The Teaching Professional will contribute across instruction, programming, technology operations, and content creation while gaining valuable experience at one of the top golf facilities in the country.

Experience Required Candidate Profile Required Qualifications

PGA Class A Member in good standing or Associate in Level 3 of the Teaching & Coaching Track

Young, motivated golf instructor with a strong desire to build a long‑term career in golf instruction and performance

Experience using video analysis and launch monitor data

Strong communication skills and ability to work with golfers of all ages and abilities

Willingness to work weekends and during peak programming hours

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with or certification in Operation 36

Experience teaching juniors, ladies, and adult golfers

Working knowledge of TrackMan, GCQuad, Sportsbox AI, SAM Putt Lab, Capto, or similar technologies

Mindset: A proactive self‑starter and team‑first individual who is eager to support both instructional and golf operations.

Technical Proficiency: Proficient in (or a strong willingness to learn) Microsoft Office, Canva Pro, and AI platforms for content creation, video editing, and report generation.

Desire to pursue ongoing certifications and professional development

Essential Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Instruction & Player Development

Lead and administer Operation 36 programming, including coaching, on‑course play, and progress tracking. Operation 36 is a long‑term development model that progresses golfers through six skill levels by achieving scoring benchmarks from increasing distances while integrating weekly classes, games, and on‑course experiences.

Teach weekend junior clinics and support junior league programming.

Conduct ladies clinics, creating a positive and welcoming learning environment.

Assist in corporate clinics and/or outing support as assigned and led by the Director of Performance.

Provide private instruction to Liberty National members.

Performance Center & Practice Facility Operations

Assist with daily operations of the Performance Center and practice facilities.

Maintain, calibrate, and manage all instructional technology, including launch monitors (TrackMan, GCQuad, etc.), video and motion analysis systems (Sportsbox AI), putting analysis tools (SAM Putt Lab, Capto).

Ensure all technology is operational, current, and ready for instructional use.

Maintain, organize and reorder training aids as needed.

Content & Communication

Support the creation of instructional and promotional content for member newsletters and social media platforms.

Assist in highlighting programming, player success stories, and Performance Center initiatives.

Professional Development & Team Collaboration

Observe and support Director of Performance Jorge Parada working with elite junior players, top‑ranked collegiate athletes, LPGA Tour players, DP World Tour players, and top‑ranked junior players.

Collaborate with instruction, fitness, and club‑fitting professionals to deliver a comprehensive, multidisciplinary player development experience.

Pursue continued education, certifications, and professional growth aligned with the Liberty National Performance Center SOPs and chronological pathway to improvement.

Benefits Compensation & Benefits

Base Pay: $400 per week / $12,000 Approximate per Season

Instruction Commission: 85% commission on all instruction

Private Instruction, Operation 36, Junior League: Estimated seasonal earnings of $27,000 - $40,000

Corporate Clinics: Estimated seasonal earnings of $8,000 - $10,000, based on prior years

Private Lesson Rate: $225 per hour (members)

Housing: Subsidized housing provided near the club at a small monthly rate

Health Insurance & 401k: Both available after 3 months of employment
