Join our team and help manage the City’s Floodplain Management Program! This role oversees compliance with the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and Community Rating System (CRS), coordinates permitting and GIS projects, and leads flood mitigation and response efforts.
We’re looking for a professional with a
Bachelor’s degree
in Engineering, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, or a related field, plus five years of experience (including one year in program management). A Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) designation is preferred, or you must obtain it within one year of hire. A Florida Plans Examiner License and a valid driver’s license are required.
