Care Coordinator/Surgery Scheduler
As a Care Coordinator, you will work closely with physicians, physician assistants, advanced practice registered nurses, and registered nurses to provide care to patients.
Responsibilities
Schedule surgery and diagnostic testing such as imaging.
Make referrals to other physicians.
Schedule patient appointments and field phone calls from patients.
Document patient information in an electronic medical record.
Maintain excellent interpersonal communication skills and organization in a fast‑paced environment.
Qualifications
One to two years of experience in the healthcare field (preferred but not required).
Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred).
High school diploma or GED required.
