The Northwest Arkansas Home Builders Association (NWA HBA) is a nonprofit trade organization serving builders, remodelers, suppliers, and other industry professionals across Northwest Arkansas. We promote excellence in home building through education, advocacy, networking, and community driven events.
Position Overview The Northwest Arkansas Home Builders Association (NWA HBA) is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Membership Coordinator to support our growing organization. This role is ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial and non-profit spirt who takes initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working with people, technology, and processes.
The Membership Coordinator Plays a key role in supporting membership services, office operations, and daily association needs. This position reports directly to the Executive Officer and works closely with, and indirectly reports to, the Director of Operations.
Key Responsibilities Membership Support
Serve as a primary point of contact for members, providing timely, professional, and friendly communication
Assist with member onboarding, renewals, updates, and general membership inquiries
Maintain accurate and up-to-date membership records in association databases and systems
Support membership growth and engagement efforts through outreach, follow-ups, and event coordination
Provide day-to-day support to the Executive Officer and Director of Operations
Assist with committee scheduling, member correspondence, data entry, and document management
Support office organization, process improvement, and workflow efficiency Confidently use and learn association software, databases, email platforms, and digital tools
Assist with basic website updates, email communications, and internal systems (training provided)
Ensure clear, professional communication with members, partners, and stakeholders

Comfortable with technology and eager to learn new tools and systems
Communicates clearly, professionally, and confidently—both written and verbal

Qualifications
High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
Proficiency with basic office software (email, spreadsheets, documents)
Experience with membership organizations, associations, or industry relevant customer service is strongly preferred
Schedule: Part-time or Full-time (flexible based on candidate fit & availability)
Reports to: Executive Officer
Indirect Reporting: Director of Operations
