CAD Technician - Dynamic Survey
Dynamic Engineering Consultants, PC, along with its family of companies—Dynamic Earth, Dynamic Survey, and Dynamic Traffic—has been a leader in land development consulting since 2004. The CAD Technician will draft and review AutoCAD drawings for topographic, utility, Right-of-Way, Boundary, and ALTA surveys across commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
Responsibilities
Plan and prepare field work files and detailed survey plats from field data, notes, sketches, and other reference drawings, ensuring they meet company and industry standards.
Draft topographic, utility, Right-of-Way, Boundary, ALTA Surveys and Construction As‑Builts.
Draft Subdivision Plats for township and county approval.
Work closely with engineers, designers, and other drafters to ensure coordination and design effort is maintained.
Complete drawing/project responsibilities within scope, budget and schedule; review drawings for completeness and accuracy.
Organize and maintain all revisions of project drawings, plot files and project‑related information.
Complete earthwork analysis (cut/fill takeoffs).
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma required. Associate’s Degree and/or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Technical degree or certificate of completion from an accredited designer/drafter curriculum preferred.
Land Development Design experience is a plus.
Knowledge of Civil 3D is a plus.
Good working knowledge of CAD drawings related to a variety of issues.
Ability to prioritize and multi‑task with respect to projects, CAD standards, and deadlines on a daily basis.
Willingness to assume increased responsibilities.
Ability to work as a team player and interact well with others.
Ability to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

The salary range for this position is $20 - $32 per hour.
