Job Summary Assist store management in daily operations and management responsibilities.
Essential Job Functions
Punctual and dependable attendance
Provide excellent customer service and train employees in customer and contributor service skills
Assist in preparation of daily reports
Open and close cash registers, perform cash handling tasks such as counting money, separating charge slips, and balancing cash drawers
Assist in sales and processing of items
Conduct monthly safety inspections with the Store Manager to identify hazards
Maintain safety log and coordinate safety drills
Attend required training
Adhere to agency policies and procedures
Review and follow Goodwill of Central Oklahoma safety policies, programs and procedures; attend safety training and report any unsafe conditions, accidents, or injuries immediately
Additional Responsibilities
Perform other duties and projects as required by management
Qualifications
High School degree or GED, preferred
Prior retail or customer service/relations experience preferred
6 months supervisory experience, preferred
Ability to speak, read, and write English
Reliable transportation and communication required

Physical Requirements
Work is physical and requires standing, walking, twisting, bending, grabbing and reaching for long periods; occasional squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity
Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds or more with assistance
Must operate a computer, handle textiles and donated goods, and move stock onto or off shelves
Work Environment
Climate‑controlled retail or production environment; exposure to airborne particles such as dust, mold, dirt, pollen, and extreme heat and cold
Available to work during operating hours, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, blackout periods, and occasional overtime when approved by management
Works 40 hours per week or more when required
Moderate noise level
