family of companies, is seeking a Seasonal Store & Warehouse Associate to support our team during the busy season at our Augusta, ME location. This is a full‑time, temporary opportunity that will require weekend availability. We also offer a generous employee discount as part of this opportunity.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist customers with product needs and answer questions
Process customer purchases with the register system, stock the store, and load store customers
Receive product orders, merchandise, and create vendor orders directly for the store
Load and unload bagged feeds and related products for customers in the warehouse
Operate a hand truck and a forklift safely, following all safety rules
Receive, accurately load, and rotate product
Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse and loading areas
Other duties as assigned by Store Management
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to lift 55 lb. to a height of 50 inches
Solid work history
Outstanding customer service skills are a must
Able to work independently as well as with others under supervision
Animal, retail, or agriculture experience preferred
Ability to pass pre‑employment drug screen
