Graphic Utility Summary: Performs printing functions by assisting the Printing Press team with daily tasks. Follow general safety and compliance with all workplace rules, policies, and procedures, i.e. SQF, safety, etc.
Essential Functions Responsibilities include following instructions of the Press Operator. Assist with make‑ready procedures, plate changes, ink and blanket changes, and handling loading and delivery of board to and from the Printing Press. Conduct preventative maintenance, quality control, properly dispose of printing waste. Resupply pressroom supplies as needed. Perform accurate record keeping. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Qualification / Requirement The ideal candidate must possess strong mechanical aptitude and have the capacity to understand the printing process in its entirety.
Protective Equipment Required Safety glasses, safety shoes, earplugs, cut‑resistant gloves, hairnet, and beard net (if necessary), hard hat (when required).
Essential Skills
Written/Verbal Communications Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with others.
Computer Skills: Must have knowledge of Windows based software.
Pallet Jack Certification
Fork Lift Certification
Roll Clamp Truck Certification
Physical Requirements This position must meet the physical demands set forth by Occumed through the WorkSteps program.
Absence Provision Graphic Utility
Candidates are required to undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer, but before starting employment.
