Join H.B. Fuller as a Reactor Operator, where you’ll ensure safe and efficient operation of chemical reactors to meet production goals. This role involves monitoring processes, maintaining quality standards, and supporting a collaborative team environment. You’ll play a key part in delivering high-performance adhesives that impact industries worldwide.

Reactor Operator

Seneca, IL / On-Site

12-hour Dupont Schedule: 5:00a - 5:00p and 5:00p- 5:00a

Rate of Pay: $29.21

Primary Responsibilities

Operate and monitor reactor systems per established procedures

Measure and mix raw materials accurately

Record process data and maintain documentation

Perform routine equipment checks and minor adjustments

Follow safety protocols and report hazards promptly

Assist with troubleshooting and process improvements

Clean and maintain work area and equipment

Collaborate with team members to meet production targets

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

1+ year experience in manufacturing or chemical processing

Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Basic math and computer skills

Authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Requirements

Associate degree in technical or chemical field

2+ years reactor or batch processing experience

Familiarity with SAP or similar systems

Forklift certification

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.

The salary for this role is $29.10.
