Assistant Manager – Kid to Kid, Short Pump
We are looking for friendly, outgoing, kid-loving people to join our team who are willing to work hard, multitask, and take pride in keeping the store clean, organized, and shoppable.
Kid to Kid is a buy‑sell‑trade store for babies and children, carrying thousands of brands up to 80% off regular retail prices. We buy and sell the best items kids outgrow and pay vendors cash on the spot. This fast‑paced buying and selling means every day is different, interesting, and keeps us on our toes. We take pride in creating an upscale resale store that is clean, organized, and inviting.
Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service and encourage employees to do the same
Assist in the training of existing and new staff, demonstrating quality work to lead by example
Manage back stock and inventory
Make multiple daily posts on social‑media pages (reels, posts, stories)
Presort and buy incoming clothes, toys, and equipment brought in from vendors
Organize racks, merchandise clothing, tag and process product
Ring out customers on the register and teach them how to sell to us
Earn monthly sales bonus potential
Qualify for 401(k) eligibility
Compensation and Benefits Hourly rate: $15.00 – $18.00.
