About the Role This position will cover all three shifts depending on call off’s/vacations. Must be able to change shift times during the week as well as work every weekend.
How you will contribute
Provide on‑call or emergency/unscheduled repairs of facilities and/or equipment during production and scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service/preventative maintenance.
Perform mechanicskills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic; troubleshoot and repair equipment and facilities as issues arise.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments or recommend subcontractors to address such problems.
Track and report out to various stakeholders on downtime notes and assembly robot details.
Other duties as assigned.
Your Key Qualifications
Position requires a high school diploma. A college degree is preferred but not required, skills and experience will be considered.
Basic understanding of robots programming (use of teach pendant etc.)
Basic understanding of PLC programming.
Understanding of preventative maintenance tasks for robotic equipment.
Experience performing facility and equipment related maintenance in a large facility. Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus.
Experience working with a variety of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and material handling equipment.
Must be comfortable and willing to utilize a scissor lift (with training and certification).
