What we are looking for Shipping prepares incoming and outgoing products for distribution.

What you’ll be responsible for in this role

Building OSB and cardboard boxes

Build pallets with use of hand and power tools

Prep products for shipment

Wrap cases and ensure proper instructions are included

May load cases with forklift

Clean cases and workstation as needed

Take pictures of product

Inventory control

Quality inspection of parts

Picking and packing items to ship

Identify power and hand tools used on their assigned product line

Read rulers, tape measurers, metal squares, and other measuring instruments

Fasten parts together with bolts, nails, screws, speed clips, rivets, or fasteners

Update computer systems with shipment information and may be responsible for basic data entry

Work at different workstations as production needs require

Maintain the work area in a clean, safe, and orderly manner

Use proper safety equipment and apparel required for each operation on individual’s product line or work cell

Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Demands

Occasionally – Pushing/Pulling, Keyboarding, Neck Rotation/Extension, Visual Acuity (Near/Far), and Lift/Carry up to 50lbs alone and 75lbs assisted

Frequently – Sitting, Stooping/Twisting, Reaching, Gripping, and Lift/Carry up to 50lbs

Constantly – Standing and Walking

*Occasionally – Occurs up to 1/3 of the time

*Frequently – Occurs 1/3/ to 2/3 of the time

*Constantly – Occurs 2/3 or more of the time
