Customer Service Representative - Commercial Lines Position Summary Assists producers, and Account Executives in increasing, retaining, and maintaining accounts.
Essential Job Functions
Assists clients with cancellations, telephone inquiries, mail requests and other services as needed.
Orders policies and requests endorsements from the company as required.
Provides solutions and resolves issues for clients in a timely and effective manner.
Orders renewal and expiration lists as needed and reviews lists to determine appropriate actions.
Types proposals for producers to give to clients and maintains client files.
Gathers data for proposals and applications, reconciles and verifies policy information to ensure information is accurate on application.
Works with clients to assist in claim problems, process endorsements and proof of coverage, including certificates of insurance.
Skills / Experience / Training
Education – High school diploma or GED.
Certification – 220 or 440 Required.
Experience – 1 year of experience in customer service preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work well with others.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Agency Management Systems.
Physical Requirements Ability to lift 25 lbs; ability to perform repetitive hand movements such as those required for computer work, and other physical abilities to perform the job responsibilities as detailed above.
Other Travel and overtime may be required to fulfill the requirements of this position.
