Our HVAC Installation Technicians are responsible for performing a range of HVAC installation jobs for residential and light commercial customers. Customer-based activities require an individual possessing traits of decisiveness, initiative, tact, judgment, integrity, dependability, and the ability to communicate in a professional manner. Our ideal candidate will be team oriented, work is performed regularly with fellow technicians, office staff as well as customers.

Representative duties include:
Performing routine residential HVAC installation activities without direct oversight or on‑site assistance in an efficient and timely manner to ZPH standards
Keeping detailed invoicing of work performed at each jobsite, including all necessary notes, payments and signatures
Providing timely and professional communication through email, text, and phone to fellow staff and clients
Utilizing and understand company dispatching software
Maintaining a professional appearance with company provided uniforms and recommended attire during all working hours
Physical demands such as driving, accessing trucks, lifting tools and equipment in and out of trucks, climbing ladders and stairs, bending and stretching to gain access to equipment located in crawlspaces, attics, rooftops, and similar
Maintaining regular, daily communication with office personnel for status updates and job scheduling
Providing thorough and prompt follow‑up communication to clients and coworkers
Maintaining a clean and organized company vehicle
Providing own personal hand tools as set forth by company tool policy
Working hours typically between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday with the understanding that hours will fluctuate. Schedules to be determined at the time of hire.
Providing clients with absolute discretion and privacy regarding them, their family, home and anything therein before, during, and after work is complete. Keeping all relationships consistent, positive and only as working relationships
Adherence to ZPH handbook, policies and procedures
Performing related duties as directed by the Installation Supervisor or Management
Job Qualifications:
High school graduate - HVAC experience preferred - Mechanically inclined - Customer service oriented
Good verbal and written skills, including the ability to read and apply manufacturers' instructions and to clearly communicate with clients and coworkers
Physical ability to perform all duties noted above, some heavy lifting and able to work safely in any weather condition found in Central Pennsylvania
Interest and initiative in maintaining and advancing his/her skills through a combination of self-study, company training, manufacturers' workshops, and other professional development activities. Maintain current certifications, licenses, and similar.
Current Pennsylvania driver’s license and the ability to operate all fleet vehicles within 30 days of initial employment. Incumbent must be insurable by current ZPH insurance carrier.
Ability to work under pressures of time, a non-standard schedule, weather, customer needs, and backlog constraints
Must pass initial background check, physical, and drug test prior to hire
