Solenis is seeking a dependable and detail‑oriented
Shipper/Receiver
to join our team. This role is key to maintaining the integrity of our shipping and receiving operations, ensuring high‑quality service in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
Provide courteous, timely, and high-quality service.
Process inventory control, shipping, and receiving requests from Sales, Production, and other departments.
Schedule the pick-up and delivery of materials as needed.
Assist with accurate inventory counts for finished goods, trading goods, and raw materials (W-14).
Prepare and ship product samples and pails.
Complete forklift training and certification; operate forklifts safely.
Comply with company EHSQ policies and follow Responsible Care® guidelines.
Receive and prioritize shipping and receiving orders efficiently.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Some college coursework preferred.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in computerized warehousing.
Familiarity with industry practices, terminology, and systems.
Physical Demands
Frequent walking between warehouse and production areas.
Ability to sit for extended periods when needed.
Special Skills/Training
Forklift safety training and certification.
Experience with SAP system for data entry and retrieval.
DOT and IATA training required.
