Summary – Basic Function Of The Role The primary function of this position is to refurbish, repair, and certify Enerpac equipment and customer‑owned assets. The major responsibilities include assessing equipment to determine if it requires basic refurbishment or repair, disassembling, troubleshooting, assembling, testing, and packaging tools as needed. The products are typically standardized and methods applied are generally prescribed or standardized.
Work Schedule & Location Monday‑Friday. Participates in the on‑call rotation; evenings and weekends may be required.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Fulfill and satisfy customer assets and assist with HTUS Rental Ops equipment rental orders as needed.
Test, calibrate, and certify equipment accuracy per instructions and calibration dates.
Repair tools and equipment: disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, replace parts, reassemble, and test. Requires a basic understanding of gear trains, mechanical systems, and electrical circuits. Interpretation of drawings, instructions, and specifications required.
Use precision measuring/testing instruments, gauging devices, and perform quality inspection procedures, including dimensional verification and non‑destructive testing.
Diagnose and troubleshoot repairs and document all work while maintaining organization.
Manage repair part stock levels and initiate purchase requisitions for customer‑approved parts.
Pass equipment refurbishment and repair training and demonstrate proficiency to meet daily output goals.
Process rental equipment and part component shipping/receiving transactions in Oracle (Company ERP System).
Drive continuous improvement, 5S, and other workplace housekeeping duties.
Carry out driving duties in accordance with the Company’s requirements.
Adhere to the Company’s quality management and environmental systems.
Follow the Company’s Safety Procedures and Policies.
Possibly need to pass forklift and other driving functions as specified to job site.
Transport equipment between local facilities/customer sites; deliver and pick up rental equipment in company truck.
Pass customer‑specific refinery safety operations exams.
Participate in the on‑call rotation that may include occasional evenings and weekends.
Skills and Competencies
Computer skills: Microsoft Windows software suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) and company business ERP system.
Read and interpret operating procedural manuals, maintenance instructions, safety rules, and MSDS.
Enter routine maintenance reports and correspondence.
Speak effectively before groups, customers, or employees of the organization.
Calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Apply basic algebra and geometry.
Apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Resolve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED. Work experience will be considered in lieu of education.
3–5 years experience in industrial hydraulic tool repair. Repair experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
Certification in Assembly, Calibration‑Conformance testing, and Order Management preferred.
Forklift certification preferred.
TWIC card preferred; eligibility to obtain a TWIC card required.
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass site‑specific background/drug tests.
Valid driver’s license required.
Physical Demands Employee may lift documents/work materials up to 30 pounds and tools up to 100 pounds. Must walk/climb to various work locations, occasionally ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like. Must move in tight or confined spaces. Operate machinery, power tools, motor vehicles, and heavy equipment. Must listen, understand, and speak with team members in person, telephonically, and electronically. Must assess accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work. Can work in front of a personal computer and telephone for long periods. May have repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions.
Work Environment Typical warehouse environment subject to loud noise, various temperatures, outdoor elements, poor ventilation, small/enclosed spaces, and workplace hazards. May visit customers requiring safety protocols. Basic PPE required: safety glasses, gloves, steel‑toe boots. Reasonable accommodations available.
