Airgas is hiring a Maintenance Technician (Night) in Augusta, GA. The role requires performing equipment repairs, preventive maintenance on production equipment, and working weekend days.
Sign On Bonus! Work shift: 7:00AM‑7:00PM (2‑2‑3).
Responsibilities
Performs repairs and installations on all plant production equipment.
Completes preventive maintenance and performs equipment inspections to ensure proper operation and safety.
Identifies and communicates safety hazards and quality deficiencies to maintenance management.
Enters data into maintenance and inventory software systems.
Operates forklift/pallet jack to perform essential functions.
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
Must be 21 years of age.
Three (3) years experience in a production/manufacturing environment in a maintenance capacity.
High degree of technical aptitude and skill to learn the function and repair of plant production equipment.
Formal training in one or more of the following: General Industrial Maintenance, Hydraulics, Industrial Electrical Systems, PLC Programming, Industrial Refrigeration, Compressors, Pneumatics.
HazMat Required.
Preferred Qualifications
Forklift Certification.
