Material Handler/Stacker
– Nestlé – Cleveland, OH
Work hours:
10‑hour shifts, 4 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
Move materials throughout the plant and stage production areas.
Maintain accurate documentation and system transactions.
Maintain stacking areas for 4 to 5 lines.
Operate equipment within company‑established rates.
Clean and sanitize equipment and areas.
Palletize and stack products to required configurations.
Open boxes and containers using proper techniques and utensils.
Maintain quality control per company guidelines.
Perform all job duties in accordance with the company’s safety guidelines.
Dispose of trash and clean work area thoroughly.
Complete all jobs assigned by supervisors.
Participate in factory teams.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Prior certification for driving forklift, electric pallet jack, and hand jack.
Team player, willing to help in all areas.
Proficient with computer use; familiar with SAP and standard Microsoft Office software.
Prior exposure to manufacturing desired, preferably in the food or beverage industry with knowledge of GMPs.
Demonstrated sense of urgency and comfort working in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to work independently or with a team with excellent communication skills.
Willingness and ability to work with minimal temperature control, exposed to local temperature variations (hold & cold).
Ability to work safely and multi‑task in a fast‑paced, quickly changing environment.
Ability to move/lift 50 lbs various times, basic math, and reading skills.
3 months Nestlé Factory Experience Is Preferred.
Compensation:
$18.00 to $19.53 per hour (estimate; final compensation may vary).
Benefits:
